NEW YORK – March 27, 2026 – PRLog — Ton-Up, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of an interview with Blood on the Saddle‘s guitar virtuoso and founder, Greg Davis. Davis has also played with Dead Hippie, The Vandals, and Candye Kane. The interview comes from cinematographer and filmmaker Laurent Basset‘s (MusiCalifornia, Freeway, Below Deck Mediterranean, The 600: The Soldiers’ Story) unreleased film, Vinerepylenoma, and is available today on Vevo, the world’s leading music video network.
Shot in 2002, the interview provides a historical, firsthand account of the 1980s Los Angeles punk scene. It also presents Davis’s musical idea for forming Blood on the Saddle. This segment is part of a series of follow-up interviews with bands from the iO Productions show, “MusiCalifornia.” The show was a half-hour monthly program that documented the 1980s, Los Angeles “underground”

Blood on the Saddle has toured throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. The band has shared bills with the Minutemen, the Meat Puppets, Social Distortion, the Gun Club, the Blasters, Los Lobos, Lone Justice, the Knitters, and Rank and File.
The current line-up is Greg Davis, vocals/guitar, drummer Dave Frappier, a nearly 30-year veteran of the band, and bass player John Stephenson.

Ton-Up Records & Music Publishing is an independent record label and music publishing company formed in 2009 by musician Eddie Star (Eddie Star & The Zero Effect, JoyBox).
