Toy Machine Gun Returns Fire With Reissue Of First Two Albums Through Ton-Up Records

NEW YORKMarch 28, 2025PRLogToy Machine Gun‘s first two albums, Where’s the Mansion (2001), and their 2005 follow-up album, Split the Dayz, return to streaming services today through Ton-Up Records.
Their debut album adheres to their influences of classic and alternative rock, channeling it into classics like Dubrighteststar, No Second Guess, and 10 Cent Lemonade.  Toy Machine Gun‘s sophomore album, initially released in 2005, demonstrates their growth with a dynamic set featuring the title track Split the Dayz, 106 Miles, Sonic Legend, and Hippy Igloo.
Their unique sound captures the spirit of a life-long friendship and love of rock-n-roll.
Toy Machine Gun is a four-piece alternative rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formed by Mark Strothmann (Bass, Vocals) and Sam Taylor (Vocals, Guitar) while still teenagers, they’re joined by childhood friends Chad Larkin (Guitar, Vocals) and Rob Reinke (Drums).
Toy Machine Gun crafts catchy songs with a dash of sentimentality that describe their experience and adventures growing up in the land of Gene Wilder, Harley Davidson, and breweries.

Ton-Up Records Takes Aim With Toy Machine Gun

NEW YORKFeb. 6, 2025PRLog — Ton-Up Records is pleased to announce and welcome Toy Machine Gun to its roster.  The Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Alternative Rock band has signed a worldwide licensing, publishing, and merchandising deal with the New York City-based independent label.

“We are pleased to have found the perfect home for our music.  Working on putting this together is something Eddie and I started as early as back in Spring of 2024.  We can’t wait to share our music and story with the world,” said Mark Strothmann (Vocals, Bass)

“I’m so excited to be working with Ton-Up Records.  I feel it’s a huge milestone for our band.  We’ve worked hard for a long time.  I can’t wait to share our music with the world and am enthusiastic about what our partnership with the label will bring in the future,” said Chad Larkin (Lead Guitar, Vocals)

Formed in 1995 by childhood friends Mark Strothmann (vocals, Bass Guitar), Sam Taylor (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Chad Larkin (Vocals, Lead Guitar), and Justin Black (Drums), the band released its debut album “Where’s the Mansion” in 2001, followed by “Split the Dayz.”  Ton-Up Records will reissue both titles on March 28, 2025.  Their new album “Waiting For Diamonds,” will be released this fall.
